HomeSucess Stories

Throughout my professional career, I have worked with individuals and organizations to uncover the root of their unique challenges and set them on a path towards the outcomes they’ve been searching for. Here you can read a few real-world examples. Out of respect for my clients’ privacy, I have used fictitious names.

"Relationship Stress"

Bob and his spouse were having relationship issues. The stress was causing digestive problems, problems sleeping and a general sense of loss of control. During our 90-day coaching program, we focused on prioritizing Bob’s needs and building a system of support to enable him to deal with his negative emotions. Bob gained control over his emotions and is now more centered and calm. His stress level lowered, alleviating his digestive issues and sleeping problems. He now has clarity around his goals and priorities, giving him the confidence to address the issues with his spouse and move forward.

"Body Image"

Simone felt frustrated with her body image. She could no longer fit into her favorite clothes and her self-confidence was eroding; food was no longer a positive experience. Together, Simone and I focused on food and activities that gave her energy and pleasure. At the end of 90 days, Simone fit into the clothes she had been unable to wear, and she had created new, self-sustaining habits that gave her purpose, joy and pride.

"Personal Growth"

Julie drove herself to compete and succeed in part because of a lack of recognition as a child. When Julie’s spouse was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, she became anxious and felt a loss of control. In our 14-week coaching program, we introduced a system for addressing unfounded self-criticism and anxiety. Julie gained clarity about her unique personal value and developed techniques to help accept and manage the aspects of life that were not within her control.

"Leadership Crisis Averted"

Erik was a rising star in his company until recent conflicts with a peer, Alec, had caught the attention of the CEO. I was engaged by the CEO to mediate the dispute between the two executives. Erik and Alec were polar opposites in their leadership styles and business approaches. After a number of confidential discussions, Erik and Alec recognized the impact their conflict was having on the business and the need for productive collaboration. They agreed to new written rules of engagement for their interactions moving forward. Erik and Alec remain in good standing with their company today.

"Phoenix Rising from the Ashes"

Vanguard had low employee engagement. The CEO wanted positive, productive relationships, but Vanguard’s past economic difficulties created mistrust between management and employees. Through annual surveys with all employees, we gained insights into the core issues and used the data to drive leadership coaching in focus areas. Each year, Vanguard’s leaders who actively addressed the issues raised in the survey saw an increase in highly engaged employees.

"Career Transition"

Tim was uncertain about his next career step after completing a high-profile project for a multinational company. He engaged me as a sounding board as he considered his options. Together, we explored Tim’s strengths and what fulfilled him, as well as the practicalities of financial stability and schedule flexibility. After three sessions, Tim was confident about his next professional step. Within a month, Tim accepted a position that relocated him to a new environment in a challenging corporate role.
